About Us

Keystone Mercy Health Plan, a member of AmeriHealth Caritas, is Pennsylvania's largest Medical Assistance (Medicaid) managed care health plan serving more than 300,000 Medical Assistance recipients in Southeastern Pennsylvania including Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.

Keystone Mercy Health Plan offers all of the benefits and services of regular Medical Assistance, plus special programs and benefits that are only available to Keystone Mercy members. We aim to provide a medical home that helps our members access the services they need. And we provide extensive programs to help our members prevent illness and injury so they can live healthier lives.

Keystone Mercy Health Plan was founded by the Sisters of Mercy 30 years ago. Today, we remain committed to our mission of helping people get care, stay well and build healthy communities, with a special concern for the poor. Our corporate parent partners are Independence Blue Cross and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, two of the nation's largest Blue health insurers.
