 Asthma is a long-term illness that causes the airways in your lungs to become narrow, swollen or blocked. Asthma can be very dangerous and it is very important to control it.
Uncontrolled Asthma:
- makes it difficult for you to breathe
- prevents you from playing sports, dancing and other physical activities
- causes you to miss work or school
